Knowledge of Swivel Ring Flange

Swivel ring flange is similar to loose flange in structure, but the difference is that it can be used in higher pressure environment. At present, it is mainly used in submarine pipeline and other occasions. It can adjust the bolt hole position on the flange ring through 360 rotation, and can realize the accurate connection by adjusting the bolt hole position on site.

The pressure rating of the swivel ring flange is generally CLASS 150 to CLASS 2500. The pressure, temperature ratings and basic dimensions are also the same as ASME B16.5 and MSS SP44 flanges, which can be easily matched with standard butt welding flanges. Its standard material is ASME A105, and the thickness of the welded end can be adjusted for pipes with higher yield strength. Flanges are also available in higher yield strength materials such as ASTM A694 or ASTM A707, also available to customer specifications.
