How does PE pipes connecting with flanges?

There are the process of PE pipes connecting with flanges:

1.The connection between the metal pipe end flange and the metal pipe shall conform to the requirements and design requirements of the flange connection of the metal pipe.

2.Flange connections at polyethylene pipe ends or steel skeleton polyethylene composite pipe ends shall comply with the following provisions:

1. The flange shall be inserted at the end of the polyethylene flange connection to be connected.
2. Flange connectors shall be connected with polyethylene composite pipes according to the requirements of hot-melt connection or electric-melt connection stipulated in this regulation.

3.The bolt holes on the two flanges should be parallel to each other,the bolt holes and bolt diameters should be matched,the bolt specifications should be the same,and the nuts should be on the same side;the bolts on the fastening flanges should be tightened in symmetrical order,and should not be assembled forcefully;after the Bols are tightened,the nuts 1-3 should be extended.

4.Flange sealing surfaces and seals shall not have any defects such as scratches or pits that affect the sealing performance,and the material shall meet the requirements for the transportation of urban gas.

5.Flanges and fasteners shall undergo anticorrosion treatment and meet the design pressure requirements.

6.Steel-Plastic Transfer Joint Connection

1. The connection between the polyethylene pipe end of the steel-plastic transfer joint and the polyethylene pipe or the steel skeleton polyethylene composite pipe shall conform to the relevant hot-melt connection or electric-melt connection stipulations of this regulation.
2. The connection between the steel pipe end and the metal pipe of the steel-plastic transfer joint shall conform to the relevant regulations for welding or flange connection of the steel pipe.
3. Cooling measures should be taken in the steel-plastic transition section when the steel pipe end of the steel-plastic transfer joint is welded with the steel pipe.
4. After the connection of the steel-plastic transfer joint, the joint shall be treated with anticorrosion, and the anticorrosion grade shall meet the design requirements and pass the inspection.
