Haihao Group successfully produces special-shaped tube sheets for Russian client

Haihao Group is proud to announce that we have successfully produced special-shaped tube sheets for our Russian client. This project faced several technical challenges, including specialized hole treatments, beveling processes, and unique shape designs. Our commitment to quality and precision enabled us to overcome these difficulties and deliver products that meet the client’s specifications.

Technical Challenges in Production

Specialized Hole Treatments: The tube sheets required precise hole placements, differing from standard openings. Each hole’s drilling process was meticulously adjusted to strictly control deformation, ensuring it met the client’s specific structural requirements. This process necessitated advanced machinery and rigorous quality control to guarantee that the positions and accuracy of the holes were in compliance with specifications.

Beveling Processes: The tube sheets featured welding bevels around the holes to facilitate effective welding. Creating these bevels required precise machining techniques to ensure they conformed to industry standards. The angles had to be calculated accurately to promote strong welds while minimizing the risk of defects during the welding process.

Special Shape Design: The unique external shape of the tube sheets presented additional challenges. Our design team collaborated closely with the client to understand their needs, developing CAD models to visualize the final product. This collaborative approach ensured that complex geometries were accurately translated into the manufacturing process, achieving optimal functionality and fit.

The batch of special-shaped tube sheets ordered by the client is made from SA 182 F321 material, which is renowned for its excellent properties:

Corrosion Resistance: F321 offers superior resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments.

High-Temperature Performance: This material retains its strength and stability at elevated temperatures, ensuring reliability under harsh conditions.

Good Weldability: The low carbon content of F321 enhances its weldability, allowing for strong joints that are crucial for maintaining the integrity of the tube sheets.

Stability Against Sensitization: F321 is specifically designed to minimize the risk of sensitization, a process that can lead to intergranular corrosion, particularly in high-temperature applications.
