Haihao Group produces hot-dip galvanized S235JR swivel flange for Danish client

Haihao Group recently produced a batch of hot-dip galvanized swivel flanges made from S235JR steel for a Danish client. The swivel flange is a specialized type of weld-neck flange, consisting of two main components: the inner flange and the outer ring. The inner flange is fixed onto the pipe, while the outer ring is designed to rotate freely around the pipe at 360 degrees. This rotating feature allows for quick and precise alignment of bolt holes with standard flanges, simplifying the installation process.

The swivel flanges for the Danish client are manufactured using S235JR steel. S235JR is a non-alloy structural steel grade defined in the EN 10025-2 standard. It is known for its excellent weldability and machinability, making it suitable for general construction applications such as bridges, buildings, and pipelines. With a minimum yield strength of 225 MPa and a tensile strength range of 360-510 MPa, this exceptional strength greatly enhances the durability of the swivel flanges.

After production, the flanges underwent a hot-dip galvanizing process, significantly enhancing the corrosion resistance of the S235JR swivel flanges and extending their service life.
