Haihao Group perform PMI testing for flanged pipe

Haihao Group is professional pipe fabrication manufacturer,we received order of flanged pipe.Flanged pipe is one pipe with flange in the end.For this order,it’s double flanged pipe.The pipes have flanges in both ends.The material of flanged pipe is stainless steel 316L.According to requirement of client,we must test the chemical components.

The regular method to test chemical component is PMI (Positive material identification).There are two type of testing equipments. One is portable testing equipment.We could take it to workshop to test the finished product directly.Another one is table-top equipment.It’s in laboratory.Our engineer will prepare specimen in advance.The equipment will test specimen.For this order,we need to test the finished flanged pipes in workshop.So we choose portable PMI testing equipment.

PMI-(Positive-material-identification)

For stainless steel 316L,the most important elements are Ni,Cr and Mo.The test result of Ni is about 12.18%,it’s very good material.
