Haihao Group finished GOST 12820-80 slip on flanges used for Rumaila oilfield in Iraq

There is an order from our regular client from Iraq,the products are slip on flange according to Russian standard.This is the customer’s order requirement:flange,pipe:slip on,40″,1000 NPS,0.6 MPa,reised face,carbon steel,grade CT20,GOST 12820-80.In the Russian standard,the slip on flange(SO flange) is also a plain flange.So for the GOST 12820-80 SO flange my client provide,the corresponding dimensional drawings are as follows:

In addition,the customer requested to paint the flange,the following are the paint standards:

This international paints,which consists of the primer Interseal 670HS,intermediate coat Intergard 475HS,and finish coat Interthane 990.The three paints require the corresponding diluent during the coating process,the diluent GTA220 for Interseal 670HS,the diluent GTA007 for Intergard 475HS,and the diluent for Interthane 990 is GTA713.

Before painting,the flange should be thoroughly cleaned to remove surface dust,in order to  get the good coating.The quantity of paint required to be calculated according to the  dry film thickness of the customer’s requirements and the surface area of the flange.
