Galvanized flange is being shipped to Malaysia

Last month, a Malaysian customer ordered a batch of galvanized weld neck flanges, the flange size is 2″~5″, the pressure is 150#, and the material is ASTM A105. Today, the production was finished and the products are being shipped to Malaysia.

Galvanized flanges are generally galvanized based on carbon steel flanges. Because of the low cost of carbon steel flange, but the corrosion resistance is much lower than stainless steel, alloy steel and other materials of the flange. So in order to save cost, both corrosion resistance, usually using galvanized method, so as to prolong the service life of carbon steel flange.
