Different nature

321: it is a material of stainless steel.

Chemical composition: carbon: 0.08 silicon: 1.00 manganese: 2.00 phosphorus: 0.045 sulfur: 0.030 nickel: 9.00-12.00 chromium: 17.00-19.00 titanium: 5c-0.70.

304: it is a common material in stainless steel with a density of 7.93 g / cm3. 06cr19ni10 and SUS304 are common marking methods in the market.

Different characteristics

321: it has excellent high-temperature stress fracture performance and high-temperature creep resistance, and its stress mechanical properties are superior to 304 stainless steel.

The most important elements in 304:304 are Ni and Cr, but they are not limited to these two elements. Specific requirements shall be specified by product standards. According to the common judgment of the industry, as long as the Ni content is greater than 8% and the Cr content is greater than 18%, it can be considered as 304 stainless steel.
