Why is flaw detection needed?
Flaw detection, also known as non-destructive testing,is to detect cracks or defects in metal materials or parts.
Under the condition of no damage to the tested object,it is non-destructive testing to detect the internal and surface defects of various engineering materials and parts by using the change of reaction to heat,sound,light,electricity and magnetism caused by the internal structural abnormality or defects of materials,and to judge and evaluate the type,nature,quantity,size,shape and distribution of defects.
Commonly used non-destructive inspection methods are: X-ray inspection, ultrasonic inspection,magnetic particle inspection,penetration inspection, eddy current inspection, γ-ray inspection, fluorescent inspection, and color inspection.

Flaw detection range:
- Inspection of weld surface defects. Check the welding quality such as cracks on the surface of the weld, incomplete penetration and leakage.
- Intraluminal examination. Inspect defects such as surface cracks, peeling, pulling lines, scratches, pits, bumps, spots, corrosion, etc.
- Status check. After certain products (such as worm pumps, engines, etc.) work, endoscopic inspections are performed according to the items specified in the technical requirements.
- Assembly inspection. When required and required, use an endoscope to check the quality of the assembly; after assembly or a certain process is completed, check whether the assembly position of each component meets the requirements of drawings or technical conditions; whether there are assembly defects.
- Excess check. Check for residual debris, foreign matter, etc. in the product cavity.
